Branson Calendar of Events
There are events every week on the Branson calendar of events, but this is a list of the big Branson MO events that are the main staple to our calendar. There's always something for all ages. Many of them are FREE to the public, and some of them are unique just to these Ozark mountains. Below is our Branson Calendar of Events.
Branson Car Show:
Dates: August 7-9
From 7am-5pm on these dates, if your interests lay more in motor vehicles, join us at the Branson Car Show. It’s probably the largest outdoor and probably the longest running outdoor event in our Missouri town and a staple to the Branson calendar of events. The Branson Car Show called the Super Summer Cruise features cars from around American the world from every era. There’s burn out contests, a worship service, live entertainment and award shows at their August Branson MO events.
Map and Directions: The Super Summer Cruise at The Shepherd of the Hills ends with the famous midnight cruise on August 9th. If you need a Branson Car Show schedule, map, and directions, the midnight cruise starts at the corner of Hwy 76 and Shepherd of the Hills Expressway at midnight and then proceeds East on Shepherd of the Hills Expressway until it comes to Roark Valley Road.
4th of July:
Firecracker 5000:
Branson 4th of July events kick off at 7:30 AM at the Branson Landing Promenade. The Branson Firecracker 5000 is a 5k and 10k race on a flat course along Lake Taneycomo through The Landing. You’re welcome to stroll and bring kids as well at the Firecracker 5000 5K and 10K run.
Fireworks:
Chateau on the Lake and Big Cedar Lodge both welcome you to join their Branson 4th of July fireworks displays. There will be an outdoor BBQ, live music, and a grand finale of fireworks these Branson MO events you’ll never forget.
Branson Balloon Festival:
Dates: August 22-24, 2014
The Branson Balloon Festival is FREE to attend, with plenty of parking. There’s easy access to see the hot air balloons up close with the kids. It’s at the RecPlex, which is the event’s permanent home! If you’re needing an address and directions to the Branson Balloon Festival it’s:

Veterans Week:
Dates: November 5 - 11, 2014
America's largest veterans week and Veterans Day celebration. It’s a seven day tribute which includes many special events. Many of the veterans week events are free. Veterans Day Parade

Motorcycle Rally:
Dates: August 22 – 23, 2014
Location: Outback Pub
The 2014 Branson Motorcycle Rally is scheduled for August 22-23. It features music, vendors, food, drink, and poker runs. There are guided rides, blessing of the bikes, and a lot more. Drive your bike out to the Branson Motorcycle Rally to let loose and have fun.

Missouri State Tax-Free Holiday Sale
Dates: August 1 - 3, 2014
Certain back to school purchases like school supplies, computers, clothing and other items are exempt from Missouri state sales tax. Stores take advantage of it by offering tons of other savings on other items.
